Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Clinical Pilates and regular Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is led by a qualified physiotherapist who assesses your individual needs and modifies exercises accordingly. Unlike gym-based Pilates, sessions are small (max 4) with hands-on corrections, and exercises are progressed based on clinical assessment.
Do I need experience to start?
No prior experience is needed. We assess everyone individually and modify exercises to your level. Whether you're a complete beginner or have years of Pilates experience, sessions are tailored to challenge you appropriately.
Is Clinical Pilates suitable during pregnancy?
Yes! Alice is qualified in prenatal and postnatal Pilates. Sessions are adapted for each trimester and focus on maintaining strength, pelvic floor health, and preparing your body for birth and recovery.
What is the Early Bird pricing?
If you book and pay by the 20th of the previous month, you receive a discounted rate. For example, book by January 20th for February sessions. It's our way of rewarding commitment and planning ahead.
How many people are in each class?
Maximum 4 people per session. This ensures individual attention, hands-on corrections, and personalized progressions. It's the closest you'll get to one-on-one coaching in a group format.
Can Clinical Pilates help with back pain?
Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons people start. Clinical Pilates strengthens the deep stabilising muscles of your spine and pelvis, improves posture, and teaches you to move in ways that reduce strain on your back. Because sessions are physio-led, exercises are specifically chosen for your condition.
How is this different from mat Pilates at a gym?
At a gym, classes are often large (15-30 people) with a fitness instructor following a generic routine. At Right Track, a qualified physiotherapist leads groups of maximum 4, provides hands-on corrections, and individually progresses your exercises based on clinical assessment. The focus is on quality of movement, not just completing repetitions.
Can I do Clinical Pilates alongside physiotherapy?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Many of our patients transition from one-on-one physiotherapy to Clinical Pilates as part of their long-term rehab plan. Because both services are delivered by physiotherapists at the same clinic, your care is fully coordinated.
What if I miss a session?
We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed sessions without adequate notice cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as your spot in the group is reserved. If you know you'll miss a week, let us know in advance and we'll advise on home exercises to keep your progress on track.
How soon will I see results?
Most people notice improved body awareness and reduced stiffness within 3-4 sessions. Measurable changes in strength, flexibility, and posture typically develop over 6-8 weeks of consistent attendance (1-2 sessions per week). Long-term benefits compound with continued practice.
Where are your Clinical Pilates sessions held?
Sessions take place at our clinic at Tseriou 32, Strovolos, Nicosia. We're easy to reach from Engomi, Aglantzia, Latsia, Makedonitissa, and Lakatamia. Street parking available nearby.
